Moody Blue on Toast
Dolce Gorgonzola, Whole Roasted Shallots on Sourdough Toast.

To start, an easy quick and whimsically titled recipe our photographer Faith Echtermeyer calls "Moody Blue on Toast". Our Laughlin Chardonnay and this crunchy rich appetizer are a heavenly combination.
Slices of toasted sourdough are topped with Dolce Gorgonzola and slow roasted whole shallots marinated in a light dressing of aged Balsamic Vinegar and Extra Virgin Lemon Oil, then finished with a thin curl of lemon zest. It is the lemon and the roasted shallots that take this traditional combination to another level when combined with our Laughlin Chardonnay.
